Join us for a special launch screening of Shaun C. Badham's artist film A Journey of The Spaces In-Between. hear more about Shaun's encounters at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens while making the film.
Shaun created A Journey of The Spaces In-Between during a series of visits to Henry Moore's home in Hertfordshire, using a spilt screen documentation process, as research for a recent artist led walk held on the summer solstice, and taking in 12 locations across the site.
Following the screening there will be an in conversation between Shaun and writer/curator Jes Fernie exploring the themes of the work, including perspectives on im/permanence, the role of public art, adaptable architecture, rights of way, what we can learn from animals as audiences and more.
Jes is a lecturer and mentor to many sculptors, as well as the creator of Archive of Destruction, documenting emotive encounters and significant shifts in public sculpture.
Together Shaun and Jes will draw on moments where their own paths have crossed, and the journeys of discovery they have been on with their creative practices, research projects and explorations of socio-political and environmental narratives about art and our surroundings.
