Repair to Reimagine is a creative workshop inviting participants to rediscover the hidden stories stitched into their wardrobes. Our clothes are more than fabric; they are vessels of memory, identity and experience.
What to expect?
The session will begin in the beautiful historic RWA galleries, with a guided reflection on the significance of these personal and cultural narratives, before moving into a practical workshop where participants will learn simple mending techniques to repair a garment they have brought along, reimagining the items value through repair. No previous sewing experience is needed, and all materials for mending will be provided.
RWA bar available.
