From serene reflections to vibrant soundscapes, Illuminate brings together a rich blend of sacred, folk, and nature-inspired choral music.
Repertoire for the evening will include:– Ola Gjeilo’s ethereal Northern Lights– Eleanor Daley’s evocative Grandmother Moon– Clara Schumann’s poignant Abendfeier in Venedig– Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Salve Regina– O Radiant Dawn by James MacMillan
Alongside other works by Herbert Howells, Kristina Arakelyan and Charles Wood, this programme explores the beauty of light and shadow in music.
