Join us for a Tudor-themed Home Educator’s Day at Sulgrave Manor—the ancestral home of George Washington
Join us at Sulgrave Manor—the ancestral home of George Washington—for a special day designed for home-educating families. Discover what life was like in Tudor times as you explore the Manor and learn how Tudors ate, slept and spent their free time.
Take part in hands-on workshops where you’ll find out what school was like for a Tudor child and even try writing with a quill and ink! Enjoy playing with traditional Tudor toys and games and dive into history in a fun and memorable way.
Wander through our beautiful garden and test your knowledge with our family-friendly garden quiz.
Need a break? Our Brewhouse café will be open, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams.
Before you head home, don’t forget to visit our gift shop, where you’ll find souvenirs and fun resources to support your learning journey.
Our fun-filled day runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm. You're welcome to arrive at any time during these hours.
Last entry: 1:00pm
