Late Night Keats: Women at Wentworth Place

3 October 2024
6 - 8pm

To accompany our exhibition, we take a look into the lives of some of the women who lived here in the 19th century.

To accompany our exhibition, 'Hidden Histories of Keats House', we take a look into the lives of some of the women who lived here in the 19th century.

Meet Fanny Keats, the sister of John Keats, as she discusses her life at the house, enjoy a tour of the house to hear more about its female inhabitants, listen to a talk by Dr Lizzy Spencer from the University of York, and get involved in craft activities.

The whole of Keats House will be open to visit. Admission includes entry to the exhibition, where you can find out more about those who lived here between 1816 and 1920, when Keats House was primarily used as a home.

Recommended for over 16s.
