Make A Short Movie - Workshop for 8 to 13 year olds
Torquay Museum and Emberlense Productions is proud to bring you a "Make a short Movie" workshop for 8 to 13 years olds taking place on Saturday 21st September at Torquay Museum . Young attendees will learn about Directing, Camera skills , presenting and stop motion animation for the opening sequence to their produced short movie .
Filmed around the I Grew up the 90s exhibition, revisit the days of Britpop and Cool Britannia, and discover the cultural treasures that 90s youth held dear. From the Spice Girls to Lara Croft, Power Rangers to Pokemon and the Teletubbies. There is also the film option for the young filmmakers to interview their parents - guardians about growing up in the 90s.
This workshop is supported by Torquay Museum Society and the finished short movie will premiere in early October 2024 .

Opening times
The Museum is open Tuesday - Thursday & Saturday 10am - 4.45pm, last entry at 4.15pm until 25th May.
From 27th May the Museum will be open Monday - Saturday 10am - 4.45pm, last entry at 4.15pm until 30th September.
During the winter months 1st October onwards, the Museum will be open Tuesday - Thurday & Saturday from 10am - 4.45pm, last admissions at 4.15pm.
