Aspex Friday Lates are late-night socials offering the chance to enjoy art after hours and immerse yourself in culture.
September’s Late will celebrate the themes of our current exhibition ‘CLASSifications’which questions the complexities of class and identity, featuring Jasleen Kaur, Dinu Li, Jamila Prowse, and Joshua Raffell.
Also open after hours is ‘A Seat at the Table’ by Gee Mullins, a colourful and kitsch journey into the power and beauty of sharing food, of which pieces will be available to purchase in the Craft Space.
Inspired by Dinu Li’s ‘Skanking Hawker’ and ‘Phantom’s Vibe’, dance the night away to Reggae and Dub with DJs g0dsf4ve & VeeSwizzle in the Communal Space with live visuals from one000plateaus VJ collective.
Join PAX in the Artist Studio for a moveable feast of projection, photography, and live cinema, celebrating experimental analogue media.
Food will be available to purchase from Kara's Vegan Soul Food and as always, the bar will open, serving refreshments throughout the evening.
Bring your friends, make new ones, and enjoy a memorable night at Aspex.
