Join tours of the battlefield, engage with reenactors, and attend a medieval hawking show in the walled garden.

Join us for a day packed with historical fun, perfect for all ages. Highlights include:

Guided Battlefield Tours: Learn about the pivotal moments of the 1460 Battle of Northampton battle with tours by the Northamptonshire Battlefield Society.

Engage with Reenactors: Get up close and personal with a reenactor who will bring the medieval era to vivid life, showcasing the daily life and combat skills of the time with a display of weapons and armour.

Medieval Hawking Show: Don't miss the hawking show in the Walled Garden, a breathtaking display of medieval hunting birds in action. Shows are scheduled at set times throughout the day.

Timetable:11.30am: A show-and-tell about the principles behind the art of Medieval Hawking.

1pm: Flying display - The Medieval art of hunting with hawk and hound.

3pm: Flying display - The history and folklore of birds of the chase.
