A talk commemorating D-Day 80, part of the York Festival of Ideas. The same talk is given on 12 June and 14 June.

Join Graeme Green, curator for the Royal Dragoon Guards Collection at the York Army Museum and discover the role of tanks during the Normandy Landings.

After the talk, take a look around the museum and view objects from the Second World War Collection.

Opening hours are as follows:

10:00-17:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
