Discover two remarkable Arts & Crafts houses in the Lake District in one afternoon. Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house designed by Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott and Broad Leys a privately-owned Arts & Crafts house designed by architect Charles FA Voysey.

Our knowledgeable guide will lead you on a discovery trail that reveals the remarkable history of the two houses. Starting at Broad Leys and finishing at Blackwell where you can enjoy a delicious cream tea served in our Tea room or terrace with panoramic views over Windermere.

Schedule

1.30pm – Tour begins at Broad Leys. At the end of the tour, visitors make their own way to Blackwell which is located 1 mile away.

You’ll be welcomed on arrival at Blackwell reception area by our front of house staff.

2.30pm – Tour begins at Blackwell.

At the end of the tour, visitors can explore the first floor of Blackwell within their groups.

3.30pm – Cream Tea will be served in the Tea room

The maximum group capacity is 20 people
