Cool Company is a dance improvisation ensemble for people aged 55 and over based in Nottingham Contemporary. Referencing current exhibitions we explore and develop relationships between visual arts and movement. Key to these workshops is the integration of social and creative elements which empower the work of the group. Workshops are facilitated by Deane McQueen, professional choreographer/ director and Backlit Gallery studio artist.
No previous experience is required.
Workshops will take place in The Space Nottingham Contemporary Monday 2.00 - 4.00pm on 15th and 29th April, 13th and 20th May, and 10th June 2024.

No prior dance/movement experience required; please let us know if you have access needs we can support.
Please wear loose and comfortable clothing with bare feet, non-slip socks or light flexible footwear; lockers are available on-site and bathrooms are available to change in if required.
