Join us for World Book Day on Saturday 2nd March 2024; author Julian Hilton will be joining us, from 11am to 12pm, to read some of his stories. Followed by a free mystery film at 1pm.

World Book Day at Torquay Museum, on Saturday 2nd March, is a time to celebrate all your favourite characters.

Author Julian Hilton, from Singing Frog Publishing, will be joining us from 11am to 12pm to read some of his stories in the Farmhouse. Followed by a free mystery film at 1pm in our auditorium*.

You can even dress up as your favourite character if you want - we will be!

*A free book for every child dressed as a book character.*

This event is free with a valid museum ticket, however as a fundraiser for the museum, there is a suggested donation of £2. Many thanks.

Opening times

The Museum is open Monday to Saturday 10am - 4.45pm, last entry at 4.15pm until 30th September.

During the winter months 1st October onwards, the Museum will be open Tue, Wed, Thurs and Sat from 10am - 4.45pm, last admissions at 4.15pm.
