The Life-Writing of Rev James Fraser (1634-1709), the “Curious Cleric”
Prof. David Worthington, University of the Highlands and Islands, will regale us with tales of Rev. James Fraser of Kirkhill (1634–1709), a Gaelic-speaking scholar, traveller and minister. Through his writings, Fraser offered a fascinating insight into life in the Scottish Highlands in the years before Culloden.
