The Fashion and Textile Museum is a creative hub in London, dedicated to showcasing the best in contemporary fashion and textile design.
The museum presents varied, creative and engaging temporary exhibitions showcasing designers around the world, alongside an exciting selection of educational courses, talks, events and workshops.
Founded in 2003 by an icon of British fashion design, Zandra Rhodes, today's museum is operated by Newham College – one of Europe’s largest further education colleges. Situated in the heart of fashionable Bermondsey Village, the museum is housed in a beautiful and distinctive building, designed by renowned Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta.
