The Library of Birmingham is housed in a new building in Centenary Square, boasting a hugely significant Shakespeare collection & city views.
Opened by Malala Yousafzai in September 2013, the new venue includes a state-of-the-art gallery space, a BFI Mediatheque that provides free access to the National Film Archive, an outdoor amphitheatre and other informal performance spaces, a recording studio, and dedicated spaces for children and teenagers.
