Ikon and Living Well Consortium collaborate to raise awareness of, and engagement with, topics centred on mental health and wellbeing. Birmingham-born artist Jaskirt Dhaliwal-Boora will work with communities, taking photographic portraits against the backdrop of the city’s green spaces, and exploring the benefits of nature to our health.
The exhibition tours to grounded. in Selly Oak, Birmingham – the first café of its kind in the West Midlands, designed with mindfulness at its heart. It is founded by leading mental health organisations Living Well Consortium and Birmingham Mind, and funded by NHS England. This programme is supported by Living Well Consortium.
This exhibition is presented as part of Ikon’s 60th anniversary year.
