An exhibition of miniature Henry Moore sculptures.
While known for his monumental sculptures around the world, Henry Moore made small, intimate hand-sized sculptures throughout his entire life. In his early years, he would carve pebbles gathered on the beach in Norfolk, and when working with bronze later in life, he would create small maquettes modelled by hand.
This exhibition will offer a full retrospective of Moore’s career through 60 works no bigger than 30cm in size, focusing on the more intimate, small-scale pieces which were made with his own hands, rather than by assistants in his studio.
