An exciting exploration of the impact that Freud had on culture, society, art, and psychoanalysis in Latin America.
The exhibition will broadly explore Sigmund Freud's impact on culture, society and psychoanalysis. We've been working with colleagues in Latin America since 2020 to uncover some key figures who disseminated Freudian psychoanalysis to the region.
Through letters, photographs, sculptures, books, comic books, and marginalia, 'Freud and Latin America' will investigate the links between Freud's life and Latin America.
