Dive into the fascinating world of eco-photography with artist Sammie Masters-Hopkins. Learn and experience one of three cameraless image-making techniques infused with botanical charm. From Lumen printing under the sun, crafting cyanotypes with nature's palette, and exploring Anthotypes using plant pigments, join us to celebrate all things sustainability and plants.
These workshops are especially for University of Birmingham Students. They are designed as a series but can be booked onto individually.
Week 1 – Wednesday 5 June - Lumen Print: Craft abstract images using plants and recycled photographic paper.
Week 2 – Wednesday 12 June - Cyanotype: Create your own collage photo print with botanical hues.
Week 3 – Wednesday 19 June - Anthotypes: Create your own photosensitive pigments made from plants.
