Opened in 1908, this fine Edwardian building houses West Sussex's largest museum and one of the UK's biggest and most significant costume collections.
Among the other collections are 16th- to 21st-century English paintings, contemporary sculpture, glass, ceramics, archaeology and juvenilia. There are over ten temporary exhibitions a year, ranging from contemporary art to themed displays. Outside is a sculpture garden.
