The world’s only museum dedicated to celebrating, educating and demystifying conceptions of the vagina.

The first of its kind in the world, The Vagina Museum launched in 2017 with a number of pop-ups across the country including at Green Man Festival, the Feminist Library and the Freud Museum. It opened at its current location, the vibrant and quintessentially London location of Camden Market, in 2019 and is looking to the future of a possible permanent venue in the next few years.

Raising awareness, instilling people with confidence and erasing the stigma around the vagina and gynaecological health are at the forefront of this museum’s work. As well as acting as an advocate for feminism, women’s right and the LGBTQ+ and intersex communities, the museum presents a rolling programme of exhibitions focusing on women’s health and vagina myth-busting.

You can even join Cliterature, the Vagina Museum’s very own book club, as well as attend a variety of workshops and scheduled events.
