The Sculpture Foundation is set in 26 acres of ancient woodland on the Sussex Downs.
Founded by Wilfred and Jeanette Cass, the Cass Sculpture Foundation is internationally recognised as the home of innovative 21st-century British sculpture, having helped produce more than 400 works by over 200 established and emerging artists including Anthony Caro, Tony Cragg, Andy Goldsworthy, Antony Gormley, Thomas Heatherwick and David Mach. A walk around the estate is a delightful journey: each piece of work is revealed in its own space in the landscape, while benches, pavilions and other works by contemporary designers are scattered among the trees. Sculptures are for sale, to provide funding for new commissions.
