Teignmouth and Shaldon Museum - Teign Heritage is temporarily closed until further notice. Please check the venue's website for the latest details.

The refurbished museum, reopened in 2011, is home to collections celebrating the local area's long association with the sea.

Key features are a Victorian bathing machine, items from a 16th-century wreck, a Thomas Lawrence portrait, personal items belonging to naval hero Admiral Sir Edward Pellew and a painting by local marine artist Thomas Luny.
