Home to the Stonor family for over 850 years, it is now the residence of Lord and Lady Camoys.

Nestled in the Chiltern Hills, this manor house was actually built in mediaeval times; its façade of warm brick and Georgian windows concealing older buildings that date back to the 12th century. The original chapel however still remains.

The house contains many Old Master drawings and paintings, including a remarkable collection of family portraits. It also holds Renaissance bronzes and tapestries, rare furniture and an early 19th-century wallpaper of Paris.

Lord Camoys has added to the Stonor Park collection with an assortment of contemporary ceramics he has amassed during his travels in the last 22 years. Works span Japan, Korea, England and Denmark, and Camoys has met many of the artists in person.
