Discover the life and times of Samuel Johnson, author of A Dictonary of the English Language, spread across five floors of displays throughout a beautiful historic townhouse, including period rooms and an introductory film.

Follow his story from his Midlands childhood to London celebrity through a collection of paintings, prints, fine and decorative art and furniture. Interactive displays and activities for families are also available.
