Royal College of Physicians Museum is temporarily closed until further notice. Please check the venue's website for the latest details.
The museum collections include portraits of medical personalities from the 16th century onwards by some of Britain's most eminent artists and sculptors; rare medical instruments and artefacts including the Symons collection and the Victor Hoffbrand collection of apothecary jars and ceremonial silver.
Collections are displayed throughout the acclaimed Grade I listed 1960s building designed by Sir Denys Lasdun, which also hosts temporary exhibitions. The archive and rare books library are open to researchers by appointment.
