The Northamptonshire Record Office holds over 800 years of the county's rich archival heritage, which can be accessed free of charge on site.
The archives cover all aspects of life in Northamptonshire, and the people who lived there.
The documents, which are held in special storage conditions, include many types of records, such as court rolls, parish and nonconformist registers, maps, letters, diaries, accounts, minute books, wills and photographs.
These records are useful for family history or other historical research.
