A medieval and Tudor manor house embellished in the Strawberry Hill Gothick style, Nether Winchendon is set in enchanting landscape beside the River Thame.

Grade 1 listed Nether Winchendon House is both a family home and one of the country’s most romantic and idiosyncratic historic houses.

Set in seven acres of tranquil garden and surrounded by 600 acres of parkland, it is an exciting mix of architectural styles, with curling Tudor chimneys, crenellations and an exterior partly encased in 18th-century stucco.

Inside you’ll find a 12th-century Great Hall, a 16th-century Dining Room with fine carved oak frieze and oak linenfold panelling and family portraits.

Please note the house is closed on Saturdays.
