Part of the mighty Warwick Arts Centre, this distinctive gallery space is home to a stunning collection of visual art and sculpture, and a host to exciting contemporary exhibitions.

In 2018 the Mead Gallery was part of Warwick Arts Centre's major refurbishment to create a new space for people to meet, create, discuss and discover the arts.

Now on the ground floor of Warwick Arts Centre, the Mead Gallery was originally built in 1986 and quickly developed an international reputation for its exhibitions of contemporary art. It has presented the work of world-renowned artists including Hurvin Anderson, Phyllida Barlow, Gerard Byrne, João Penalva and Lindsay Seers, as well as major survey exhibitions including The Indiscipline of Painting and Slipping Abstraction.

The gallery is home to the University of Warwick Art Collection featuring major works by some of the most thrilling artists of the last 56 years, including Eva Rothschild, Alison Wilding and Jade Fatojutimi among many more. The collection includes everything from paintings, prints and photographs, to sculpture and ceramics.

Plus, there are 25 stunning outdoor sculptures to explore around the campus, footpaths, green spaces, woods and lakes surrounding the gallery.
