The John Rylands Library

The John Rylands Library houses a rich and varied collection, including exquisite illuminated manuscripts, rare books, examples of fine printing, bookbindings and archives.

The magnificent Gothic Revival building in Manchester's city centre is a major visitor attraction as well as a research library of world renown. Visitors to the library enjoy a vibrant events and exhibition programme.
