The museum celebrates the fascinating history and current role of the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals, which together form today's Household Cavalry.

The Household Division has protected the British monarch from rebels, rioters and assassins for nearly 350 years. In the museum, which is set within the Horseguards headquarters, visitors can see the troopers going about their daily duties and working with the horses in the original 18th-century stables. Beautifully showcased exhibits, interactive presentations and superb graphics offer a fascinating insight into the Household Cavalry's ceremonial and combat duties worldwide.
