Green Howards Museum
With a National Art Pass you get
There is much to enjoy among the military treasures housed in Green Howards Museum, dedicated to the distinguished Yorkshire Regiment.
From the rare and unique to the everyday, stories emerge of adventure, hardship, joy, sacrifice and friendship. The fine art collection includes large battle scenes such as the Menin Crossroads by Fortunino Matania and portraits by Terance Cuneo; wonderful examples of 'Mouseman' furniture, much of it made by Robert Thompson in the 1930s; and regimental silver dating back to 1825.
