Housed in a Grade II* listed Tudor building in Waltham Abbey, the museum tells the story of the Epping Forest district.
Epping Forest District Museum is comprised of six galleries devoted to telling the stories of the people who have lived and worked in the district, from the earliest inhabitants to those of the present.
Permanent collection
Key items from the collection include work by Lucien Pissarro and the London Underground poster designer Walter Spradbery and the 13th-century Waltham Abbey Bible.
