The museum gives an insight into the maritime and local history of Deal, Walmer and the surrounding area.

Displays include famous local boats; model boats; figureheads; sketches and paintings by Henry Moses, Roget and other artists; and objects associated with Deal boatmen and lifeboat men, the Cinque Ports, the Royal Marines and the town's long association with servicing and victualling the Fleet.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1pm to 4pm until mid October.

Closed November to March Closed every Tuesday and Wednesday except for pre-arranged group visits.
