Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT)

1pm: walk 17 minutes via Hanover Street and Wood Street to FACT, Liverpool's first purpose-built arts centre for more than 60 years. It houses a cinema, art gallery and is one of the UK's leading organisations for the support and exhibition of film, art and new media.

3pm: next stop is Victoria Gallery & Museum, a 16 minute walk from FACT. The museum holds an assortment of curiosities from the 120-year history of the University of Liverpool, while the gallery is home to a significant collection of fine art.

4pm: last stop is World Museum, 18 minutes from Victoria Gallery and Museum. Filled with fascinating objects from around the world, this is one of the UK's best multidisciplinary museums.
