From Belfast to Findhorn: Artist Rooms On Tour 2013

Published 12 November 2012

Northern Ireland’s first Andy Warhol show and two exhibitions in the Scottish Borders are among the highlights of the fifth Artist Rooms tour.

The Art Fund-supported contemporary art collection will travel to sixteen venues in 2013, ten of which are joining the tour for the first time.

Four video works by Turner Prize-winner Douglas Gordon and two large canvasses by Pop artist Alex Katz have also joined the collection for 2013, bringing the number of artists represented to 35.

Artist Rooms exhibitions have already been seen by 21 million people, and by the end of its fifth tour over 50 venues will have exhibited works from the collection.

The Art Fund continues to support the tour of Artist Rooms, which is owned by Tate and the National Galleries of Scotland. For the first time, the 2013 tour will also be supported by Arts Council England and Creative Scotland.
