Competition: Grayson Perry silk scarf

Published 27 May 2015

Following the opening of Grayson Perry’s new show at Turner Contemporary, we are giving you the chance to win your own piece of Perry’s artwork to wear.

To celebrate the opening of Grayson Perry: Provincial Punk at the Turner Contemporary, we are giving you the chance to win a 100% silk scarf that has been created by the artist. This unique design created exclusively for Tate pays homage to modern art in Perry’s unique artistic voice, as he explains, 'In the second world war pilots were given maps printed on silk to help them escape if they were shot down over enemy territory. This scarf is a social and cultural map to help aspiring artists navigate the hostile territory on their way to being accepted by the establishment.'

Grayson Perry: Provincial Punk presents over 50 works that span Perry’s career. You can see his earliest pieces such as Secret Woman – one of the first acknowledgements of Perry’s transvestite alter-ego Claire – as well as more recent works such as The Huhne Vase. The exhibition is on at the Turner Contemporary, Margate until 13 September.

To be in the chance of winning, simply answer the question below and read the terms and conditions before entering. The competition closes at 23.59 on 5 June.
