12 monumental sculptures from Burning Man will be dotted around Chatsworth’s beautiful parkland.
Burning Man is a festival that takes place in the barren planes of the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, USA, with a sense of community, art and self-expression at its core. The event becomes a temporary city for sharing in creativity, knowledge and self-discovery.
Chatsworth and Burning Man have worked together to bring the festival’s distinctive culture and creative flair to the Derbyshire landscape – eight of the majestic sculptures from the festival will travel to Chatsworth and a further four will be specially built on site. The creation of three of these will be completed with help from visitors and local community groups, mirroring the shared spirit of Burning Man festival.
