From Ai Weiwei to Antony Gormley, explore how artists manipulate clay to represent humanity.

Featuring installation, animation, works on paper, sculpture, photography, video and performance, contemporary artists demonstrate how clay can be used in varied ways to convey ideas around history, current affairs, human behaviour, folklore and tradition.

The exhibition features work by Ai Weiwei, Antony Gormley, Rachel Kneebone, Pio Abad, Jonathan Baldock, Oliver Beer, William Cobbing, Shawanda Corbett, Nathalie Djurberg & Hans Berg, Ryan Gander, Nancy Herbert, Lubaina Himid, Lindsey Mendick, Zoë Paul, Tal R, Renee So, Francis Upritchard.
