Derby has been infiltrated by a flock of 30ft rams in a city-wide sculpture trail celebrating local art and culture.

Derby residents will wake up to these large colourful creatures on the morning of the 27 May. Featuring bold prints and eye-catching colours, each ram is bespoke and has been lovingly decorated by a local artist. From illustration to graffiti art, each ram demonstrates the breadth of artistic talent in the city of Derby.

The trail has been inspired by the mythical Derby Ram featured in an 18th-century song. This particular ram was said to cause an influx of visitors and admirers to the city. Here’s hoping this herd do just the same! And, you can even create your own trail around the city with a mobile app.
