Through around 40 significant manuscripts, this exhibition explores the history, culture and traditions of Jewish people through the ages and from all corners of the world

From a spell book containing 120 magical and medical recipes to an Italian rabbi’s letter to Henry VIII, this exhibition brings together rarely-seen manuscripts from as far back as the 10th century, exploring the history of Jewish people through the ages.

Featuring beautifully illuminated texts, intricate illustrations and fascinating scientific diagrams, the exhibition takes visitors around the world to explore the relationships and influences between Jeiwsh communities. Fascinating works on subjects like music, science and philosophy reveal more details about the knowledge and culture that was exchanged between these groups.
