British pop art icon Peter Blake transforms Snowdrop, an active Mersey Ferry, with one of his iconic colourful designs.
Everybody Razzle Dazzle is the third in the series of Dazzle Ship commissions, in which artists transform a Mersey Ferry. The series name is a reference to dazzle painting: camouflage created by artists that was used to confuse enemies targeting British ships during World War One.
Visitors can take a ride on the ferry Snowdrop, learn more about the history of dazzle and the role that Liverpool’s Mersey Ferries undertook in the First World War in a special on-board display.
