A series of soothing watercolour landscapes of the garden at Feeringbury Manor in Essex, created by artist Sonia Coode-Adams during lockdown.
After a pause in creating of many years, lockdown provided artist Sonia Coode-Adams with an opportunity to return to painting. Whilst shielding, the artist created a series of tranquil watercolours of the garden at Feeringbury Manor that celebrate its transition from spring to summer.
Filled with tulips in May and peonies and oriental poppies in June, the manor’s garden has an incredible variety of flowers, and there are different plants at all times of the year. This exhibition celebrates the garden and explores the soothing influence of nature through Coode-Adams watercolors.
