Unveiling 3000 years of Chinese Imperial culture in this major new exhibition.

Featuring pieces from the Tullie House collection of porcelain and textiles, loans from Durham University’s Oriental Museum, and rarely seen porcelain, embroidery, calligraphy, silk and jade, this exhibition displays Imperial China’s dynamic history over the last 3000 years.

The work of contemporary Chinese artists is also on display, charting the influence Imperial Chinese history and the use of symbolism still has on Chinese culture today.
