The stunning 2017 Street Fans exhibition is reimagined online
The unique exploration of the relationship between street art and fan making, that was exhibited at The Fan Museum in 2017, has been given a new lease of life online.
A pioneering project that put fan making on the map, the exhibition brought together the designs of 29 collaborators, brought to life by fan making extraordinaire, Sylvain Le Guen. From geometric pleats and the face of Audrey Hepburn, to cartoons and delicate illustrations, the exhibition explores the wide variety of street art in tandem with the exquisite art of fan making.
The iconic exhibition has been revived online through the Google Arts & Culture portal, where you can follow a step-by-step guide of the beautiful fans featured, diving into how they were made and what inspired their creation.
