Women's voices are at the centre of this exhibition exploring how female campaigners and their allies have strived for equality.

Items including personal diaries, subversive literature, banners and protest fashion will help to tell the story of how female activists used passion, humour and imagination to fight for a fairer world.

The three themes of Body, Mind and Voice, will be intoduced by contemporary activists and leaders and will feature commissioned films and archive footage, alongside British Library collection items and loans.

To coincide with the exhibition, pop-up displays will simultaneously open in over 20 partner libraries around the UK through the Living Knowledge Network.
