Rare opportunity to view personal artefacts and works of art that tell the story of Derek Jarman's garden at Prospect Cottage.

In this, the first exhibition to focus on the role of the garden in Jarman's work, visitors will have the chance to see articles borrowed from the inside cottage at Dungeness including his Garden Notebooks, tools, furniture, diaries and sketchbooks.

Alongside these unique items will be works of art and film from throughout Jarman's career exploring his love of gardening, plus archive material recorded by the artist on his hand-held super 8 camera at Prospect Cottage on the beach at Dungeness, which was the location for the films The Last Of England (1987) and The Garden (1990).
