Exhibition charting 60 year career of British abstract artist.

Brian Rice (b1936) studied at Yeovil School of Art and Goldsmiths College. In the 1960’s he was at the heart of the ground-breaking London Art Scene and a part of the crowd of artists associated with the Royal College of Art such as David Hockney and Peter Blake.

This exhibition features his paintings and prints created over the last 60 years, including the vibrant multi-form painting Green Cross, also Dowth with its European rock art influence and later work Horton Rock, alongside objects, textiles and books from the artist’s personal collection that have been important to the development of his work.
