This exhibition tells the story of Margaret (Maggie) Scott and four generations of her descendants.

This family history exhibition gives an insight into the life of local Larne woman Margaret (Maggie) Scott. The story begins with Maggie’s birth in Drumgavlin, Co Down, during the Great Famine, moving through history and four generations to the present day and a local Larne family.

This exhibition contains family heirlooms including handmade quilts, lacework, clothing, photographs, a Royal Wedgwood dinner service, furniture and letters, amongst other items, giving us a glimpse into the lives of Maggie and her family.
