This exhibition presents findings from a royal Saxon burial and explores life in seventh-century Britain.

The exhibition showcases findings from an archaeological dig in Loftus where the princess, Saxon jewellery, weapons and more were discovered.

The story of the princess' discovery is told as well as the history of the site from the seventh century up to the Second World War.

Visitors can explore a small recreated village of Saxons going about their daily lives, and children can dress-up in Saxon clothing and take part in activities from the period.
